Product Description
3M Flatback Tape 2517 is a kraft-paper flatback tape with a natural-rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive for web processing, splicing, roll starting, and roll closure. The durable backing tears by hand for quick placement yet remains suitable for machine dispensing, while the adhesive provides dependable tack and holding power. Its moisture-resistant paper construction supports general-purpose handling in bundling, holding, and packaging work. For high-temperature operations, the applied tape withstands a bake cycle at 149 deg C (300 deg F) for up to 30 minutes, making it useful where splicing and temporary fixation encounter short thermal exposure.
