3M Trizact Cloth Belt 307EA is a structured abrasive cloth belt with micron-graded aluminum oxide formed into microreplicated pyramids for controlled metal finishing and polishing. As the pyramids wear under medium pressure, fresh mineral is exposed to maintain a predictable cut and fine finish. A flexible rayon-cloth backing follows contoured surfaces, while the resin bond and grinding aid help limit delamination, heat buildup, warping, and discoloration. The film-media splice supports smooth belt travel with fewer chatter marks. This construction suits intermediate finishing, fine polishing before plating or buffing, and robotic finishing on hard metals such as carbon steel and stainless steel.
