- Rapid Seconds-Scale Bond Development
- Flexible Impact-Resistant Bond
Product Description
3M Hot Melt Adhesive 3764 Q is a clear, 100% solids thermoplastic adhesive supplied in Q/Quadrack-stick form for use with compatible hot-melt applicators. Its molten phase wets many plastics, including polyolefins, and the adhesive hardens within seconds as it cools. A 50-second open time provides a controlled interval for positioning parts before bond development. The formulation is flexible at low temperatures, impact resistant, and characterized by good shear and peel strength. It is used for assembly, attaching, securing, repair, potting, panel bonding, wire tacking, bundling, sealing, encapsulating, and packaging across compatible plastic, metal, paper, cardboard, foam, ceramic, glass, PVC, and wood substrates.
Key features
- Quadrack Applicator Compatibility: The Q-format stick is made for compatible 3M Quadrack hot-melt applicators.
- Rapid Cooling Set: Bond strength develops within seconds as the molten adhesive cools and hardens.
- Broad Substrate Bonding: The adhesive bonds many plastics, including polyolefins, plus compatible industrial materials.
Applications
Suitable for assembly, attaching, securing, repair, potting, panel bonding, wire tacking, bundling, sealing, encapsulating, and packaging.
