3M 433L
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- High-Temperature Heat Shielding
- Conformable Foil Surface Coverage
- Linered Tape for Die-Cutting
Product Description
3M High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape 433L is a linered aluminum foil tape with a clear silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive for high-temperature heat shielding, seaming, sealing, and splicing. Its dead-soft aluminum backing conforms to curved and uneven surfaces, while the release liner supports die-cutting and controlled conversion. The tape tolerates limited exposure up to 316 deg C and conducts heat across the covered area. These characteristics suit wrapping thermal insulation, covering heating elements or wires, splicing aluminum foil, and securing the final lap of narrow rolls during metal annealing.
Key features
- High-temperature exposure: Tolerates limited exposure up to 316 deg C for heat-shielding applications.
- Conformable foil backing: Dead-soft aluminum follows curved and uneven surfaces during wrapping, seaming, and sealing.
- Linered conversion format: The release liner supports die-cutting and controlled handling before application.
Applications
Applications include wrapping thermal insulation, covering heating elements or wires, splicing aluminum foil, and holding the final lap of narrow rolls during metal annealing.
