3M 444
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Fast Initial Lamination Adhesion
- Stable PET Converting Carrier
- Foam and Gasket Attachment
Product Description
3M Double Coated Tape 444 is a pressure-sensitive laminating tape built with 3M Adhesive 300 on both sides of a 0.5 mil PET film carrier and a densified kraft release liner. The medium-firm acrylic adhesive delivers high initial adhesion to foams, fabrics, coated papers, polyethylene, and other high- and low-surface-energy plastics. Its film carrier adds dimensional stability for slitting and die-cutting, while different adhesive thicknesses on the two faces promote wet-out during assembly. The tape is used for foam lamination, gasket attachment, plastic-film bonding, splicing, and diagnostic test-strip assembly.
Key features
- Rapid lamination adhesion: Quick-flowing 3M Adhesive 300 develops high initial adhesion for efficient laminating.
- Stable converting carrier: A 0.5 mil PET film improves handling and dimensional stability during slitting and die-cutting.
- Low-surface-energy attachment: The acrylic adhesive bonds foams and plastics such as polyethylene for gasket and laminate assembly.
Applications
Applications include foam lamination, gasket attachment, plastic-film bonding, splicing, and medical diagnostic test-strip assembly.
