Product Description
3M Performance Plus Duct Tape 8979 is an outdoor-capable polyethylene-film and cloth-scrim duct tape with rubber adhesive for temporary indoor and outdoor maintenance, sealing, and repair. The 0.29 mm tape tears by hand, conforms to irregular surfaces, and develops immediate initial stick on many surfaces. It removes with little or no adhesive residue from most opaque surfaces for up to six months after application and resists delamination and deterioration under outdoor UV exposure for up to one year. Typical performance includes 6.2 N/cm peel adhesion, 64 N/cm tensile strength, and 17% elongation.
