3M 8992L

3M Polyester Tape 8992L is the linered version of 3M Polyester Tape 8992, combining a 0.052 mm dark-green polyester backing, silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive, and 0.075 mm polyester release liner for die cutting and converting. The tape is 0.082 mm thick excluding the liner and performs from -50 to 204 deg C. Typical data include 48 N/100 mm adhesion to steel, 998 N/100 mm tensile strength, and 148% elongation. Its thermal and chemical resistance support high-temperature masking, while the strong backing removes in one piece and leaves a sharp paint line.
