Product Description
3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 9379 is a clear specialty acrylic transfer adhesive supplied on a clear polyester release liner. The approximately 1.7 mil adhesive layer is designed for environmental sealing and bonding where a thin, conformable adhesive is preferred. It supports impervious aluminum-to-aluminum assemblies exposed to demanding fluids and temperatures when prepared and laminated under the specified conditions. A clear construction keeps the bondline unobtrusive, while the removable liner protects the adhesive during converting and placement. Roll width and length can be selected for the intended production format.
Key features
- Thin Transfer Adhesive: The approximately 1.7 mil adhesive layer supports low-profile bonding and sealing.
- Clear Bondline Construction: Clear adhesive and liner simplify placement where appearance matters.
- Fluid Resistant Bonding: Qualified aluminum bonds resist JP-4 jet fuel and Skydrol hydraulic fluid exposure.
Applications
Environmental sealing and bonding of impervious aluminum assemblies, including converted parts that require a thin transfer adhesive.
