Product Description
3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive EC-1838 B/A is a green, controlled-flow structural epoxy for prepared metals, wood, and selected plastics. Mix Part B and Part A at 4:5 by volume or 1:1 by weight; the paste provides a 60 minute work life at 23 deg C and limits migration after placement. Handling strength develops in 6 to 10 hours at room temperature or 15 to 20 minutes at 65 deg C. The cured adhesive reaches Shore D 82 hardness, 2% to 3% elongation, and a 55 deg C glass transition temperature.
