Main features
- Tough Impact Resistant Bonding
- High Shear And Peel Performance
- Non Sag Assembly Control
Product Description
3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive EC-2615 B/A is a 100% solids, two-part non-sag epoxy for tough, impact-resistant bonds on prepared metal and selected plastic substrates. Mix Part B and Part A at 100:50 by volume; the off-white base and amber accelerator provide more than 20 minutes of work life for a 20 g batch at 22 deg C. After a seven-day room-temperature cure, prepared aluminum bonds reach 5500 psi overlap shear, 73 piw T-peel strength, and 98 piw floating-roller peel strength under the stated test conditions.
Key features
- Tough Impact Resistant Bond: The cured epoxy supports structural joints exposed to impact and service stress.
- High Shear And Peel Strength: Prepared metal assemblies benefit from strong shear and peel performance.
- Non Sag Application Control: Thixotropic consistency helps retain adhesive on vertical or irregular joints.
Applications
Structural bonding of prepared metal and selected plastic parts, including assemblies that need non-sag placement and impact resistance.
