Product Description
3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive EC-2815 B/A FR is a white, flame-retardant two-part epoxy for metal and composite honeycomb structures, insert bonding, and aircraft-interior panels. Mix Part B and Part A at 100:50 by volume; the thixotropic paste resists sagging and provides more than 60 minutes of work life at 22 deg C. Full cure is achieved in 24 hours at 24 deg C or one hour at 82 deg C. The cured adhesive reaches 5000 psi aluminum overlap shear and meets the stated 14 CFR 25.853(a) flammability requirements before and after environmental conditioning.
