Product Description
DOWSIL EA-2900 Sealant White is a one-part, white, neutral alkoxy-cure RTV silicone adhesive for bonding and sealing PCB assemblies and optical parts in LED lamps and luminaires. The material extrudes at 190 g/min and reaches a typical tack-free state in 20 minutes at 23 deg C and 50% relative humidity. Aluminum lap-shear assembly strength increases from 4 kPa at 10 minutes to 100 kPa after one day, while full-property data apply after seven days under the same temperature and humidity. The cured elastomer provides 400% elongation, 17.1 kV/mm dielectric strength and UL 94 V-1 classification at 6 mm.
