Product Description
DOWSIL PV-801 Neutral Sealant is a one-part, neutral alkoxy-cure silicone adhesive and sealant for photovoltaic module assembly. The non-slump paste can be extruded at a typical rate of 197 g/min through a 3.18 mm nozzle at 0.62 MPa and skins over in about 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature and 50% relative humidity. After seven days under those conditions, the cured sealant has 746% elongation at break, 1.69 MPa tensile strength, and Shore A 28 hardness. Applications include photovoltaic frame sealing and junction-box bonding to glass and plastic backsheets.
