Product Description
DOWSIL Q3-3384-1 Base with SILASTIC Q3-3636 Special Black Catalyst is a two-component, room-temperature-curing thixotropic silicone adhesive system for durable component sealing. The off-white base and black catalyst provide visual confirmation of mixing at the required 10:1 ratio by weight. Its non-self-leveling paste consistency supports controlled placement, while typical snap time is 8 to 11 minutes and tack-free time is 15 to 20 minutes. After seven days at room temperature, the cured adhesive has Shore A 33 hardness, 1.6 MPa tensile strength, and 250% elongation. The system uses a neutral alkoxy cure and is intended for adhesive sealing of components.
