DYMAX 3089-GEL

Main features

  • Low-Stress Flexible Laminating
  • Gel-Form Placement Control
  • Glass, Metal, and Plastic Bonding

Product Description

Dymax 3089-GEL Low-Stress Bonding / Laminating Adhesive combines a gel consistency with fast UV- and visible-light cure for low-stress bonding and laminating. The flexible cured adhesive joins glass, plastics, metals, nickel, and Mylar polyester within the supported substrate range. Its gel form is suited to applications where controlled placement is preferred, while the cured flexibility accommodates assemblies that should not be constrained by a rigid bondline. The material can also be used in sealing and gasketing tasks identified for the product. Applications include flexible laminations, glass or metal assemblies, and bonding to Mylar polyester and nickel surfaces.

Key features

  • Low-stress cured flexibility: The flexible cured material is suited to laminating and movement-tolerant assemblies.
  • Controlled gel placement: The gel consistency supports localized application before light cure.
  • Multi-material adhesion: Bonds glass, plastics, metals, nickel, and Mylar polyester within the supported scope.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Low-stress bonding and laminating
  • Glass, plastic, and metal assembly
  • Sealant and gasketing applications
