Main features

  • Low-Shrinkage Glass Assembly
  • Fast Dissimilar-Material Bonding
  • Heat- and Moisture-Resistant Bonds

Product Description

Dymax 431-T Glass, Plastic and Metal Bonding Adhesive delivers UV- and visible-light cure for bonding glass, plastics, metals, and ceramics. The low-shrinkage formulation is intended for assemblies that need a dimensionally controlled bondline across dissimilar materials. Product characteristics include high-temperature and moisture resistance for bonded components exposed to demanding environments. Fast light cure on accessible bond regions supports efficient assembly without a prolonged thermal cycle. Applications include glass assembly, mixed-material decorative or technical components, and joining the listed substrates where low shrinkage and environmental resistance are important selection factors.

Key features

  • Low-shrinkage bond formation: The formulation limits cure shrinkage for dimensionally sensitive assemblies.
  • Broad dissimilar-material bonding: Bonds glass, plastics, metals, and ceramics within the supported substrate range.
  • Heat and moisture resistance: Cured bonds are positioned for elevated-temperature and moisture exposure.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Glass assembly
  • Dissimilar-material component bonding
  • Plastic, metal, and ceramic joining
