Main features
- Visible Blue Mask Placement
- Acid-and-Alkali Process Resistance
- Peelable Post-Process Removal
Product Description
Dymax SpeedMask 730-BT Maskant is a blue peelable UV/visible-light-curable process maskant for temporary protection in harsh chemical and abrasive operations. The gel format supports controlled placement before cure, and the cured mask is stated for resistance to acid and alkali process exposure within defined limits. After processing, the barrier can be peeled away to restore access to the protected surface. Applications include plating, anodizing, grit or sand blasting, and chemical milling or etching where the exact process conditions match the product data.
Key features
- Blue coverage visibility: The blue gel provides clear visual contrast for controlled mask placement.
- Acid-and-alkali resistance: The cured barrier is documented for harsh chemical-process exposure within stated limits.
- Peelable cleanup: The temporary mask can be peeled from the protected surface after processing.
Applications / Suitable for
- Plating and anodizing
- Grit and sand blasting
- Chemical milling and etching within documented limits
