Main features
- High-Temperature Thermal-Spray Masking
- Aggressive Blast-Media Resilience
- Flexible Post-Process Removal
Product Description
Dymax SpeedMask 750 Maskant is a pink UV/visible-light-curable gel maskant for temporary protection during high-temperature thermal-spray coating and aggressive grit-blasting operations. The material supports high adhesion and tack-free cure, helping the mask remain in place while exposed to plasma spray, HVOF, wire arc, and related blast-media conditions. Supported substrates include nickel, titanium, and cobalt-chrome alloys. After processing, the cured mask can be removed by incineration or by warm-water and air-assisted methods within the stated process conditions.
Key features
- Pink gel coverage: The colored gel supports controlled placement on selected alloy surfaces before cure.
- Thermal-spray resilience: The cured mask is documented for high-temperature spray and aggressive blast-media exposure.
- Multiple removal routes: Post-process removal can use incineration or warm-water and air-assisted methods.
Applications / Suitable for
- High-temperature plasma spray and HVOF
- Wire arc and thermal-spray coating
- Aggressive grit blasting on nickel, titanium, and cobalt-chrome alloys
