Main features
- Light Cure with Heat Backup
- Aggressive Acid-Process Protection
- Peel or Incineration Removal
Product Description
Dymax SpeedMask 758-H Maskant is a red opaque gel maskant for acid stripping, plating-bath exposure, and aggressive grit blasting on titanium and nickel alloys. The material cures with LED or UV/visible light and includes secondary heat cure for internal passages or other shadowed areas that are difficult to expose directly. Its application behavior supports spraying and trimming before or during process preparation. After the protected operation, the mask can be removed by peeling or incineration within the stated chemical, geometry, and cure conditions.
Key features
- Light cure with heat backup: LED or UV/visible exposure provides primary cure, with secondary heat cure for internal passages.
- Acid-process resistance: The cured mask is documented for acid stripping and plating-bath protection.
- Adaptable removal: The temporary barrier supports peel or incineration removal after processing.
Applications / Suitable for
- Acid stripping
- Plating-bath protection
- Aggressive grit blasting on titanium and nickel alloys
