ELANTAS UF-3

Main features

  • Room-Temperature Foam Cure
  • Expanding Electronic Void Fill
  • Assembly-Conforming Foam Packaging

Product Description

CONATHANE UF-3 Polyurethane Foam is a room-temperature-curing polyurethane foam for packaging electronic components and assemblies. After mixing, the material expands to fill available void spaces around protected hardware, creating a foam-format packaging layer within the assembly. This expansion behavior supports coverage of available cavities and void spaces during cure. UF-3 is suited to electronic packaging and void-filling operations where a two-component expanding polyurethane system is required to occupy open space and cure around components at room temperature.

Key features

  • Expanding Void Fill: The polyurethane system expands during cure to occupy available spaces around hardware.
  • Room-Temperature Cure: UF-3 develops its foam structure through an ambient cure process.
  • Electronic Packaging Use: The product is intended for packaging components and complete electronic assemblies.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Packaging electronic components
  • Protecting electronic assemblies
  • Filling void spaces around hardware
