Product Description
LOCTITE EF 557 AERO is an expandable modified epoxy film adhesive for sealing, splicing and reinforcing aerospace honeycomb materials. Supplied as a preformed foaming film, it expands during the stated heat-cure cycle to fill and bridge honeycomb details without liquid component mixing. The film supports localized core reinforcement, edge sealing and splice work where a controlled lay-up format is preferred. Dual-temperature cure options provide process flexibility for compatible honeycomb assemblies while retaining the required cure and expansion conditions for the selected construction.
