Product Description
LOCTITE HC 9872.1 AERO Syntactic Film is a toughened 350°F (177°C) curing, low-density epoxy syntactic core material supplied as a continuous film with controlled thickness, width, and density. Designed for aerospace composite structures, it is co-curable with a wide range of 350°F epoxy prepreg systems and incorporates a lightweight non-woven Kevlar® reinforcing carrier. The film offers excellent moisture resistance, pliability, tack, and drape for efficient layup and processing. Its low-density construction and co-curing capability make it suitable for lightweight sandwich structures and composite assemblies where weight reduction and moisture resistance are important design considerations.
